Key answer
Provider benchmarking is defensible only when the products and transaction conditions being compared are equivalent. A known fee or attractive reference rate alone does not justify naming a cheapest provider.

Choose a peer group with a reason
Decide whether the question concerns banks, exchange houses, digital remittance products or a mixture of channels. Describe why those products belong in one comparison. Some research questions need a broad landscape; others need a narrow set of equivalent products. Avoid treating institution size, brand recognition or inclusion in a directory as proof of competitiveness for a particular transaction.
Keep the transaction fixed
Use the same principal or sender budget, destination, recipient currency, funding method and payout channel. Record whether pricing is promotional or standard and whether a particular customer qualifies. Capture the observation window and validity. A product unavailable for the chosen transaction belongs in an unavailable state, not at the bottom of a price ranking with a fabricated value.
Separate measured outcomes from explanations
Where all required fields are present, compare the recipient outcome and documented sender cost. Where costs are missing, describe a partial comparison. A price difference does not, by itself, explain why the provider chose it. Avoid inferring liquidity conditions, internal margins or commercial strategy from a retail observation without additional evidence. Keep observed facts distinct from analytical hypotheses.
Publish enough method to support the conclusion
Disclose the sample, transaction definition, collection window, exclusions, fee convention and benchmark reference. Explain whether a ranking can change with amount or delivery method. Do not present sponsored placement as an independent performance result. MFXIntel’s public website supplies the research framework; actual provider comparisons require verified, permitted observations in the enabled workspace, not a synthetic leaderboard created for search visibility.
