What this calculates
Enter an exchanged principal, two rates expressed in recipient-currency units per source-currency unit, fees paid on top in the source currency, and known recipient deductions. The calculator compares the result with your reference rate. It does not fetch prices, rank providers or execute a transfer.
The convention matters
Recipient amount = principal × quoted rate − recipient deductions. Benchmark-relative cost = principal + on-top fees − recipient amount ÷ reference rate. The percentage uses the exchanged principal as its denominator. If fees are deducted from your principal, first determine the net exchanged amount and represent charges consistently. Unknown charges make the result incomplete.
No hidden live-rate claim
The tool has no default market rates. Every input is supplied by you and stays in this browser. Explicitly enter zero only when a charge is known to be zero. A negative cost means the entered outcome is better than the entered benchmark; it is not a guaranteed saving.
