Preserve the system that already works
The public site is a separate presentation layer. It does not replace the collection engine, the database or your existing analytics. The dashboard gateway supports a same-origin compiled application or a configured private upstream, and does not manufacture new analytical results.
A contract rather than an assumption
Public observations need an explicit publication flag, source, observation timestamp, expiry boundary and rights status. Private endpoints require independent authorization, tenant checks and appropriate audit records. A successful HTTP response alone is not sufficient evidence that its contents may be displayed or redistributed.
Keep changes reversible
The integration is designed to leave existing production data and collectors untouched. A preview release can be reviewed independently. Activation requires a tested dashboard build, configured authentication, backend authorization and an approved source contract. The supplied operations guide records these release gates.
